About Casa Maya
A relaxing getaway by the sea.
Casa Maya is a welcoming, affordable guesthouse right on Playa El Yaque, on Isla Margarita. Set slightly apart from the main hotel area, it offers a peaceful place to rest and enjoy the Caribbean. Here, the beach is just outside your door.
We have seven rooms for couples, families, and groups of up to eight. All have air conditioning and a private bathroom with hot water. Some include a fully equipped kitchen, and a shared kitchen is also available to our guests.
Many of our rooms offer spectacular sea views. Choose a cozy couples’ getaway, such as rooms 201 and 202, or a place to share with family, such as rooms 003, 101, and 102. Each room has its own features, so explore the photos, views, and amenities to find the one that best suits your stay.

Casa Maya is strolling along an endless stretch of soft white sand, playing in the gentle water as it rolls in and out, basking in the sun, and watching the ocean and the kiteboarders and windsurfers.
Casa Maya is sharing unforgettable moments with the people you love—family and friends—filled with laughter and joy, perhaps over a beer or a rum on the beach as the most incredible sunsets unfold.

Yes. Casa Maya is right in front of Playa El Yaque. Step outside the property and you are on the beach.
Most do. Rooms 003 and 004 do not have a sea view.
Room 001 has a window facing the beach and sea, but it is on the ground floor, so the view is at beach level.
Family rooms 003, 101, and 102 have fully equipped kitchens.
The other rooms have dishes, utensils, and a kettle for making hot drinks. Guests can also use Casa Maya’s shared kitchen.
The rate covers accommodation only. Meals and drinks are not included.

To confirm your booking, you must pay a deposit of 50% of the total amount. The remaining 50% is due on arrival.
If you need to cancel, the following terms apply:
- 7 or more days before arrival: free cancellation and a refund of the deposit.
- Less than 7 days, but at least 24 hours before arrival: a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking amount, equal to the deposit.
- Less than 24 hours before arrival or in case of a no-show: a cancellation fee of 100% of the total booking amount.
Deadlines are calculated relative to the scheduled arrival date.
Yes. There are two piers near Casa Maya, and both offer departures to Isla Coche. The Sunsol pier is about 150 meters away, and the cooperative pier is just 50 meters away.
Private boats and Sunsol’s all-inclusive tours depart from the Sunsol pier. You can view its location on the map. To join a Sunsol tour, you need to book online.
The cooperative pier is also marked on the map. You can arrange the cooperative’s service at the entrance to El Yaque.
Catamarans and boats to Cubagua depart from Punta Piedra.
Yes. There are two piers just a few meters from Casa Maya, but they only go to Isla Coche! Catamarans and boats to Cubagua leave from Punta Piedra.
