Punta Ballenas Lighthouse, or Faro Punta Ballenas in Spanish, is a historic lighthouse located on the southeastern Point of the island of Isla Margarita, Venezuela at the edge of Pampatar.<\/p>

This impressive structure was built in August 2007 and its function is to improve maritime security and keep Venezuela’s maritime navigation and signaling systems updated. Since then it has become a beloved landmark on the island, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape and the Caribbean Sea.<\/p>
